Hilary I. Lebow is a journalist with 15 years of communications experience and a passion for fitness and nutrition.

Starting at age three, she trained extensively in ballet, jazz, and hip-hop. After more than a decade in the studio, she was invited to dance professionally with a touring group, but her family turned down the opportunity.

Determined to stay in the fitness space, she left for college early and pursued a bachelor’s in journalism at Cal Poly Humboldt, rising in the ranks from sports writer to editor-in-chief of the student newspaper. She later earned a master’s in marketing from University College Dublin in Ireland, completing market research projects for Aviva Stadium, Icon Sports, and other clients.

Since then, she's written and edited content for several health-focused publications, including Healthline, Greatist, Everyday Health, and Psych Central. She's also designed sales packages for sports broadcasts, like the Olympics, March Madness, MLB, and PGA tour.

Outside of work, fitness is her focus. Following a spinal injury, she dropped 60 pounds with intermittent fasting and completed certifications through the Yoga Alliance and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

For this gym rat and data nerd, wellness is more than a hobby—it’s a way of life. Her next goal is to return to the dance studio and reconnect with where it all began.

Philosophy

The human body is a million-dollar machine. The healthiest populations on the planet, known as Blue Zones, embody a primal ethos: food as medicine, along with movement, nature, sleep, and peace. The data reveals that true health and the healthcare industry are not the same thing. It's the prevention of chronic illness, upstream, that unlocks longevity. We must start there.
