I'm a journalist on a mission to learn about true wellness.
My love of movement started young. From the age of three, I poured my time into ballet, jazz, and hip-hop. After more than a decade in the studio, I was invited to dance professionally with a touring group, but my family turned it down.
I left early for college and pursued a bachelor’s in journalism at Cal Poly Humboldt, moving up the chain from sports writer to editor-in-chief of the student newspaper. I later earned a master’s in marketing from University College Dublin in Ireland, completing market research projects for Aviva Stadium, Icon Sports, and others.
Since then, I've written and edited content for several health-focused publications, including Healthline, Greatist, Everyday Health, and Psych Central. I've also designed sales packages for televised sports broadcasts, like the Olympics, March Madness, MLB, and PGA tour.
Outside of work, fitness is my focus. Following a spinal injury, I dropped 60 pounds with intermittent fasting and completed certifications through the Yoga Alliance and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
For this gym rat and data nerd, wellness is more than a hobby—it’s a way of life. Next, my goal is to return to the dance studio and reconnect with where it all began.

The human body is a million-dollar machine. In the healthiest places on the planet (Blue Zones), folks embody a simple, primal ethos: food as medicine, movement, nature, sleep, and rest. Prevention of chronic illness, upstream, unlocks longevity. Let's start there.
